Privacy policyThis policy covers all web sites produced by Prysm Events including www.bstartup.com, www.startupcommunity.co.uk and www.startupoverseas.co.uk. Data Protection Registration: Business Startup Community, Business Startup Exhibitions and Business Startup Overseas are part of Prysm Events and is registered with the Data Protection Registrar Notification Number ihx650 and complies with all UK data protection legislation. Membership: When you join Business Startup Community as a Member, the details you provide on the Registration Form, will be used solely for purpose of providing you with information about news and events provided by Prysm Events or one of its strategic partners; and to keep you involved as a Community Member either by email or telephone. Registration Form: To join as a Member to Business Startup Community, you are required to complete an online Registration Form. If you do not wish to be informed about news and events provided by Prysm Events or one of its strategic partners, you should put an x in the box provided at the bottom of the Registration Form. Username and Password: During the Registration process, you are asked to provide a personal username and password when you join as a Member. You should never reveal these to anyone else. Once Registration is complete you will be sent an email to confirm your personal username and password. Payment: Membership to Business Startup Community is payable by subscription of £5.00 per month. This is payable either by direct debit or credit/debit card. The payment is conducted securely through bucks.net and the payment process is secured by Streamline. All Membership accounts are password protected. Cancellation: Business Startup Community Members are entitled to cancel their Membership at any time by contacting their own credit/debit card company or bank. Business Startup Community reserve the right to contact Members who have cancelled their Membership in order to carryout a Customer Cancellation Review. Access to the Public: Most the area's on the Business Startup Community website are open to the public so it is recommended that you do not post any personal information in the web logs or forums such as you name and contact details. Links: There are links on the Business Startup Community website to third party websites. Prysm Events has no control over these and accepts no responsibility for any third party practices on third party websites. What about personal data?
